There has been a change of plan to the television programme 'Stephen Fry - HIV & Me', which was previously reported to be featuring Andy Bell openly talking about his experiences of living with HIV.

As the series developed and the editing progressed, the series became much more about how everyday people live with the virus rather than being about celebrities, therefore Andy will no longer appear.

The series is due to be broadcast in the UK on BBC TWO at 21.00 on Monday 1st October and Monday 8th October.

This long awaited extraordinary book chronicles Paul and Andy's spectacular rise to prominence with Erasure's early hit albums and offers a vicarious look at the parties, glamour, and exclusive lifestyle it enabled.

But it was also a lifestyle of dangerous excess, which ultimately resulted in a potentially fatal episode for Paul in a luxury Los Angeles hotel. A massive stroke rendered him paralysed and unable to speak, and it was unclear it he would be able to recover.

Hospitalised, Paul was faced with an uncertain future, unsure which, if any, of his faculties would return. Unable to talk Paul had no choice but to reflect on his life and was reduced to communicating with typed notes.

Yet the more he typed, the more he recovered, slowly giving birth to this book. By doing so Paul re-engages the world world, celebrates in the love and support of his family, friends, and most importantly, Andy.

This summer's San Diego LGBT Pride festival will feature an unprecedented number of performers and attractions from throughout its 33-year history, with more than 100 artists, 300 businesses and an expected audience of 40,000 gathered to celebrate equality, freedom and diversity in the LGBT community.

Specially featured in the roster is a lineup of local, independent bands and musicians who are passionate about supporting the LGBT civil rights movement.

In addition to this year's sturdy menu of local talent, the acclaimed English "synth-pop" band Erasure will headline Pride weekend, at 6 p.m., July 22, on the festival's Jack FM Stage. The group, which features Vince Clarke and Andy Bell, is currently on a national tour promoting their new album, "Light At The End Of The World."

Following on from his widely acclaimed series, the secret life of the manic depressive, Stephen Fry tackles the largely forgotten world of HIV and AIDS.

In the early Eighties, little was known about AIDS or how to treat it. The focus was restricted to certain groups, including gay men, and Stephen watched as friends became infected and died.

On a personal journey, Stephen explores the situation today and finds that, although effective medication is now available, a third of those infected don't know they are positive. He also finds new infections are rising.

To illustrate the changing face of the virus, Stephen meets up with an HIV-positive grandmother, a 16-year-old schoolgirl who has had HIV since birth and HIV-positive couples who have given birth to HIV-negative children.

He also meets celebrities Andy Bell, George Michael and Scissor Sister Ana Matronic to hear their personal stories about HIV.

This documentary will be broadcast Autumn 2007 on BBC Two.

Vibrant colour, dazzling art and beautiful views across London - Erasure's Andy Bell has come a long way from Peterborough's housing estates

The American magazine Billboard (which is targeted towards music professionals within the music industry) will feature an Erasure special in their next edition.

The Erasure special has an issue date of "June 23" and will be on the news stands a week prior to this - on Saturday June 16.

The Birmingham event will be very similar to the London one, i.e a live performance + signing copies of the new album.

Electric Picnic is an annual music festival which has been staged since 2004 in Stradbally Hall (Stradbally) in the Republic of Ireland.

Erasure will be embarking on a standalone tour in the UK and Europe later in the year (after the North American / Canadian "True Colors" festival).

For the first time ever, music legends and today's hottest artists take the stage for a historical musical event - Cyndi Lauper, Erasure, Debbie Harry, The Dresen Dolls, The Gossip and The Misshapes with host Margaret Cho join in celebration of the inaugural True Colors concert tour in support of the Human Rights Campaign.

This 15 city nationwide tour, presented by Logo, kicks off Gay & Lesbian Pride Month on June 8th at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena. The concerts will feature five hours of nonstop music with other exciting special guests appearing on select dates throughout the tour including Rufus Wainright, Rosie O'Donnell and Indigo Girls with additional guests to be announced.

The Human Rights Campaign seeks to improve the lives of GLBT Americans by advocating for equal rights and benefits in the workplace, ensuring families are treated equally under the law and increasing public support among all Americans through innovative advocacy, education and outreach programs. One dollar of every ticket sold will benefit the Human Rights Campaign.

The tour will also give Americans an opportunity to learn more about and become involved with the Matthew Shepherd Foundation and Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG).

Cyndi Lauper has recorded a duet on a new Erasure song called "Early Bird". The song was recorded by Erasure during the recent recording sessions for their new album. When they decided to do the True Colors tour, it was suggested to Cyndi to do the duet.

Cyndi's vocals are superb and the track is a very r&b / Prince-y type of track from Vince and Andy - very different to everything else from the new album, and has been mixed by Gareth Jones.

Erasure have had an idea of an alternative video for "I Could Fall In Love With You" and they would like Erasure fans to be involved.

The idea is to feature a montage of "falling in love" moments, that tender kiss with a loved one...the warm embrace with a close friend...the gaze into your partners eyes that makes your heart beat faster before your lips finally meet... that kind of thing!

In order to include as many special moments as possible, we would like you guys to send in your very own "falling in love" moment for possible inclusion in the video. This can be in the form of a video clip or still image of that special kiss or embrace.

For still images you can email in practically any image format, such as JPEG, PNG, TIFF or BMP.

For video footage it is advised that you to send in video clips via the post (burn the footage on a CD / DVD disc or send in cassette copies e.g. MiniDV). Videos encoded in MPEG, AVI, Quicktime, WMV - practically any format should be fine.

Or you can use a web based file sharing service - upload the file and email the link to be able to download it.

"This is one of the few songs that existed in part before the Maine hotel room writing sessions.

Before we started this album, I was really keen for it not to be mid-tempo - I'm having a mid-tempo crisis! Our albums seem to have got slower and slower, so I started searching for classic funk or disco baselines, put some ideas together with chord changes and baselines underneath, and emailed them to Andy for him to sing over the top.

The song, like this album, is quite 'up' and up tempo because we're both in good spaces right now.

Vince: So here we are in Mute Records. We've just done a fantastic interview with Roland who used to work here at the record company. And there's lots of information in the interview** - it's incredibly exciting as we always are(!), as is our new album. And when's that released Andy?
